Blindingly Simple is now in it’s second year. We have had an amazing time passing on our skills to people – over 150 people can’t be wrong.
Everybody has enjoyed learning new skills, making hand made Curtains, Pelmets, Roman Blinds and Cushions.
With finances now getting even more difficult we are all trying to save money, why not let us teach you to make your own beautiful hand made curtains, blinds and cushions.
Blindingly Simple Curtain, Roman Blind and Cushion Courses are aimed at the beginner who wishes to learn the techniques to produce perfect soft furnishings every time. Even if you have no sewing skills or experience we can teach you to make beautiful soft furnishings, please don’t be shy, we can teach you, all we need is your willness to learn.
We only take up to three people at a time on any of our courses so you will always get personal attention at all times. We try to match people with similar skill levels so you don’t feel intimidated by anyone.
Our courses are run from my small informal workshop in Four Marks, Nr Alton, on the Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire border. So come and learn the techniques in making perfect hand made Curtains, Roman Blinds, Cushions or Loose Covers in a small, friendly and homely environment.
You will make sample curtains and blinds that will be to a professional standard. Our Advanced Curtain Making course will give you the skills to produce curtains for those awkward odd shaped windows. You can also learn how to produce Roman Blinds, and to put the finishing touches to your room, learn how to produce beautiful Cushions too, all using our one day courses.
All equipment and materials (including fabric) is included in the price. Comprehensive notes on the do’s and don’ts will be provided.
We also run a Fun Craft Day – this is a one day course for between 4 and 8 people. Bring your friends and have a crazy fun day making lots of easy to make fun items. You can choose two or three item from Cheeky Chicken door stops or a handy notice Board o to simple cushions – Ideal Christmas presents. The perfect fun day out with your friends.
Specialised haberdashery items for projects can be purchased on site.

All courses are flexible – phone for dates but mainly the:-
3 Day Basic Curtain Making Course runs mainly on a Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday most weeks through out the year.
1 Day Roman Blind Making and Cushions runs mainly on a Monday or Friday.
Loose Cover course run for 3 consecutive days to suite you.
For a little extra cost we will run some weekend courses for two people.
Mid morning coffee and a home cooked lunch will be provided, also tea and cake for the afternoon.
