Meet for coffee at 9.30 – course starts at 10 o’clock
We start by talking through:-
- How to measure for various types of blinds
- Discuss use of various types of blinds.
- Child safety issues and how to make your blind child compliant.
- How are you going to fit the blind
- Tips on which fitting to use – either wooden batten, aluminum headrail or cassette type and how to hang.
- Pattern placement.
Then let us begin to make our blind, firstly cutting out interlining, lining and face fabric. Start to assemble your blind.
Break for Lunch
Continue to make up your Roman Blind while working out where your blind will fold. Complete your blind. Hang it and stand back to admire your workmanship and see how clever you are !!
Prices – £150 per day course (this includes all material for use on the course. Morning coffee and a light lunch)

You can pay for your course in two way – you can either pay via PayPal at the time of booking or you can book now an pay via BACS 21 days before the course
Accommodation – A selection of B&Bs are available in Alton plus a Travel Lodge a few hundred yards up the road in Four Marks
Dates for courses – if a there isn’t a date that suits you in the drop down box, give me a call and we will see if there is any other dates.
Cancellation policy- Course costs will be refunded up to 3 weeks before the course. Thereafter fees will be non-refundable.
If a course is cancelled by Blindingly Simple your fees will be refunded.
